The Lands Management Department is responsible for protecting and guiding the use of tribal lands within CIV traditional territories. It manages land zoning, GIS mapping, allotments, and development planning, ensuring that land decisions are made with respect to cultural values, environmental sustainability, and long-term community needs. The department plays a vital role in maintaining tribal sovereignty and ensuring the integrity of land and resource stewardship.
