The Tribal Services Department is dedicated to supporting the physical, emotional, and economic well-being of tribal citizens across CIV traditional territories. This department serves as a central hub for services that promote family stability, community wellness, and self-sufficiency. Through coordinated programs and outreach efforts, Tribal Services helps community members access employment and training opportunities, educational support, health-related assistance, and social services tailored to the unique needs of our people. While not the primary department responsible for public safety, Tribal Services collaborates closely with emergency operations and law enforcement programs, including support for the Village Public Safety Officer (VPSO), to ensure community members are connected to resources for protection, crisis response, and advocacy. By addressing a wide spectrum of social, educational, and economic needs, this department strengthens the foundation of a healthy, empowered tribal community grounded in cultural values and mutual support.
